Terms and Conditions

jnews.jegstudio.com and any connected customer portal (collectively, the “Services”). Throughout these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Jegtheme, the operator of the Services. “You” and “your” refer to any visitor, customer, account holder, or user of the Services.
By accessing the Services, creating an account, purchasing a subscription or license, downloading any product, or using any part of JNews Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. What JNews Pro Includes
JNews Pro is our subscription package for the next generation of JNews. Unless otherwise stated on the relevant checkout page or offer, JNews Pro includes:

- JNews Pro is the subscription package governed by these Terms.
- JNews Twenty and Gutenverse News are products included with JNews Pro
- JNews Classic is a separate product for existing users and is referenced in these Terms only where relevant to upgrades, compatibility, or migration.
We may add, remove, improve, rename, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or making a purchase. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You may not:
- Impersonate another person or organization.
- Use false billing or account information.
- Share account access in a way that bypasses the license or plan purchased.
- Use the Services for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Product Access
Access to the Services may include both free and paid components and may vary depending on your JNews Pro plan.
If your plan includes recurring billing, premium access continues only while your subscription remains active.
4. License and Permitted Use
JNews Pro products are made for use on WordPress websites under the license terms provided with the product. WordPress theme and plugin code may be provided under the GNU General Public License (GPL) where applicable. Related design assets, media, documentation, or non-code materials may be subject to separate licensing or usage restrictions if stated in the download package or on the product page.
Your JNews Pro subscription covers the products included in your plan for as long as your subscription remains active, subject to the limits shown on your order page or license dashboard.
Unless a different limit is clearly stated on your order page, purchase confirmation, or license dashboard:
- Your plan allows use up to the number of sites or licenses shown on your order.
- Licenses are granted to you, not sold outright.
- Licenses are non-exclusive and non-transferable unless we approve a transfer in writing.
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or repackage any JNews Pro product as your own.
- Share premium files with anyone who has not purchased an eligible license or subscription.
- Use one license or subscription across more websites than your plan allows.
- Remove copyright, attribution, or license notices where they are required.
5. Existing Customers, Upgrades, and Migration
If you previously purchased JNews Classic through a third-party marketplace, that purchase remains subject to the marketplace’s original license and support terms. Any direct upgrade, migration, or account-linking offer made through jnews.jegstudio.com is governed separately by the terms of that offer.
If we offer a direct upgrade path, connected purchase-code flow, legacy pricing, or migration-related benefits for existing customers:
- Eligibility is determined by our verification process.
- The offer does not change the legal terms of your original marketplace purchase.
- The offer may be modified, limited, or withdrawn at any time.
- Connecting a purchase code does not guarantee perpetual access to new paid products, support, or premium benefits unless explicitly included in the offer.
If you choose to migrate from JNews Classic or JNews Twenty to Gutenverse News, that migration may require a separate tool or process because Gutenverse News uses a different, block-based architecture. Migration eligibility, timing, and support are subject to separate guidance published when that migration becomes available.
6. Orders, Billing, and Payments
When you make a purchase, you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information. Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Lemon Squeezy and PayPal and are also subject to those providers’ own terms and privacy practices.
We reserve the right to:
- Reject or cancel any order.
- Limit quantities.
- Block suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions.
- Correct pricing, product description, or checkout errors.
If a payment is declined, reversed, charged back, or flagged as fraudulent, we may suspend access to the related license, subscription, downloads, updates, or support until the issue is resolved.
7. Subscription Renewals
If you purchase JNews Pro, your subscription may renew automatically at the end of the billing term unless you cancel before renewal.
Unless otherwise stated on the checkout page or in your customer account:
- Renewal charges are billed using your saved payment method.
- Renewal gives continued access to updates, premium downloads, and support for the renewal term across the products included in your plan.
- Cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively cancel an already paid term.
You are responsible for managing your subscription before the renewal date if you do not want it to renew.
If your subscription ends or is cancelled, you may lose access to future updates, support, premium downloads, and any included subscription-only benefits. Continued use of already installed files remains subject to the license terms that apply to those files.
8. Refund Policy
We want customers to have enough time to evaluate whether our products are the right fit.
Unless a different refund policy is clearly stated on the checkout page, our standard policy is:
- First-time purchases may be eligible for a refund within 14 days of the original purchase date.
- Refund requests must be submitted through our official support channel listed on jnews.jegstudio.com or in your account.
- Renewals, recurring charges, upgrade adjustments, custom services, and setup services are generally non-refundable.
Refunds may be denied if:
- The request falls outside the stated refund window.
- The product was purchased by mistake but already substantially used or downloaded.
- The request concerns a feature that was clearly not advertised.
- Abuse, fraud, or repeated refund behavior is detected.
If approved, refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible.
9. Support Policy
Support is provided only through our official support channels listed on the website or in your account.
Support may include:
- Installation guidance
- Setup help
- Bug clarification
- Assistance with product features as documented
Support does not include:
- Custom development
- Full site builds
- Extensive design customization
- Server administration
- Third-party plugin or hosting support unrelated to our products.
We may set support scope, response priorities, and access levels based on your product or plan.
10. Updates and Product Changes
We may release updates, fixes, improvements, redesigns, compatibility changes, or feature changes to JNews Pro and any included products at any time.
Products or features described as currently in development, including Gutenverse News or future features referenced in our roadmap, reflect our current plans and may change, be delayed, or be revised before release. Any availability timeline shared on our website or in communications is an estimate, not a guarantee.
An active license or subscription may be required to access:
- Automatic updates
- Premium templates or assets
- New premium features
- Official support
We are not obligated to maintain any specific feature forever, and we may change or discontinue product features, plan structures, included products, or product naming as JNews Pro evolves.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services:
- In violation of any law or regulation
- To distribute malware or malicious code
- To infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
- To interfere with the security or normal operation of the Services
- To scrape, mirror, or reproduce restricted areas of the Services without permission
We may suspend access if we reasonably believe your use creates legal, security, or operational risk.
12. Intellectual Property
The JNews Pro, JNews Twenty, JNews Classic, and Gutenverse News names, branding, website content, product positioning, graphics, copy, logos, trademarks, and other brand assets are owned by or licensed to us unless otherwise stated.
Except where open-source licenses apply, nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.
You may not use our trademarks, branding, or visual identity in a way that suggests partnership, endorsement, authorship, or official status without our prior written consent.
13. Third-Party Services and Compatibility
JNews Pro products are built for WordPress and may interact with third-party plugins, hosting providers, APIs, payment tools, video platforms, analytics systems, or other external services.
We are not responsible for:
- Outages or policy changes from third-party providers
- Compatibility issues caused by third-party products
- Losses caused by hosting, plugin, or platform changes outside our control
Compatibility information shown on our site reflects our current guidance and may change over time.
14. No Warranty
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not guarantee that:
- The Services will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Every feature will work in every WordPress environment
- Any product will meet every use case, hosting setup, or third-party stack
- Products currently in development will be released on any particular timeline
You are responsible for testing the product in your own environment and maintaining proper backups before deployment or updates.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of data, downtime, or reputational harm arising out of or related to the use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific product or plan giving rise to the claim.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jegtheme, its directors, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates from and against claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
- Your misuse of the Services
- Our violation of these Terms
- Your infringement of another party's rights
- Content, data, or materials you use with any product in violation of the law
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Services if:
- You breach these Terms
- Your payment is reversed or fraudulent
- We are required to do so for legal or security reasons
Termination does not limit any rights or remedies available to us under law or equity.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Indonesia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will publish the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
